Jonathan Nix, PA-C, of Dermatology Associates of Northeast Georgia, has been named the 2025 Advanced Practice Provider of the Year at the 8th Annual Healthy Hall Awards Luncheon, presented by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce on March 13. This prestigious award honors healthcare professionals who make a lasting impact on the Gainesville-Hall County community through exceptional service, innovation, and leadership. 

The Healthy Hall Awards, held annually at Lanier Technical College, recognize excellence in healthcare across multiple categories, including Physician, Nurse, and Community Impact. Nominations are submitted by the public and reviewed by the Chamber’s Healthcare Committee, composed of local health and business leaders. The event is part of the Chamber’s Health & Wellness Initiatives and VISION 2030, which promotes access to quality care and community-wide wellness. 

Nix, who serves patients in Gainesville and Demorest, specializes in Medical and Surgical Dermatology and has over 25 years of experience. Known for his compassion and dedication, he balances clinical excellence with a strong commitment to mentoring future healthcare providers. Beyond the clinic, he is a devoted husband, father of four, and active member of Lakewood Baptist Church.
